Hi! I'm Tim, a TEFL-certified native English teacher with professional experience teaching both online and in the classroom.

I currently teach English online as well as working professionally with children at a private international preschool in Prague. Over the years, I've worked with students from different countries, age groups, and English levels, including extensive experience with one-to-one teaching.

Teaching is my profession, but I don't think learning needs to feel overly formal. I want my students to feel comfortable talking, asking questions, making mistakes, and laughing occasionally along the way. Lessons should be something you look forward to, not another hour of your week spent staring at a textbook.

My lessons are tailored to the individual student. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, confidence, or English for work and travel, we'll focus on the areas that matter most to you.

I also enjoy working with children and younger learners. My classroom experience has taught me that children learn best when they're actively involved, so I use conversation, games, stories, and activities to keep lessons engaging while still making real progress.

Outside the classroom, my interests range from martial arts and fitness to cooking, gardening, music, and gaming, so I'm rarely short of something to talk about! I especially enjoy working with students who want to use their own interests as a way of developing their English.

For me, successful teaching isn't about putting every student through the same textbook. It's about figuring out what that particular person needs and finding the best way to help them get there.
